Return to North: Magalawa Island, Zambales

Magalawa Island from Zambales Mainland

Magalawa is located 5 minutes away from Palauig in Zambales. It is much nearer from Mt. Tapulao than Potipot island which is located in Candelaria.

After we climbed Mt. Tapulao, from mainland Zambales, sasakay ng banca which is 5 minutes later nandoon ka na sa isla. (It is also the same as Davao Mainland to Samal Island)

From this island, makikita din ang Mt. Tapulao.

You have an option to stay the whole day or overnight. But, for our case, kagagaling namin sa Mt. Tapulao, we stay overnight. As we arrived, we went swimming and have fun. At night we are now preparing for our dinner.

After some series of talk and telling stories, some went for Night Swimming, some went to their tent and sleep, but I manage to sleep at the cottage besides, it is not cold enough outside. Tomorrow morning, some went for swimming and some stayed at the cottage.

At 12 noon, we are now ready to leave Magalawa Island. Here, we ride a banca going back to Mainland Zambales.

After 4 days of Staying at Zambales, climbing Mt. Tapulao and a island hopping at Magalawa Island, we went home and cherish all the memories of this wonderful journey I will never forget.
