Mt. Maculot ---- A year after

Image
Rockies of Mt. Maculot It's been ONE YEAR after I joined MIT Mountaineering Club at ang Mt. Maculot ang isa sa mga bundok na naakyat ko. Unfortunately, hindi ako nakasama sa Mt. Maculot this year due to some conflicts sa schedules, but I will share my experience to you what happened a year ago. Mt. Maculot climb is part of the club's anniversary, aakyat muna ng Mt. Maculot at mag-stay ng overnight (yung iba dayhike) then kinabukasan, pupunta sa Rockies at bababa na for the celebration.

The original plan was Mt. Manabu. Due to some issues, pinalitan namin ng Mt. Batulao as the Club's 2013 Introduction Climb.

Mt. Gulugod Baboy is 525+ MASL and my second Minor Climb next to Mt. Maculot. So ibang-iba sya sa iba pang bundok na "2/9 Difficulty" and for me, THIS is the true 2/9 Difficulty Mountain.

Next in the list. Mt. Tarak Ridge. October 20, 2012 ung sanang una kong akyat dyan s Tarak Ridge. But before that, Last few months may nangyari sa Tarak Ridge (at dahil sensitibo... hindi ko na sasabihin). 1st week ng October, inaaya ako ng kaibigan ko together with his group na sumama sa Tarak Ridge, and It's a go. Unfortunately umatras ung kaibigan ko dahil may importanteng lakad so, I push through pero hindi ko pa ina-accept ung invitation. 2 weeks before the climb, nagkaroon na ng FINAL LIST sa mga sasama, so umaasa ako na makakahabol ako sa listahan pero huli na. So, hindi ako nakasama. Ang susunod na akyat nung araw na un ay November 29 - 30 sa Mt. Maculot. Sumama na lang ako sa Mt. Maculot. Then sumama ako sa Mt. Pulag last January 4-6 - The Mt. Maculot Journey - - Characteristics ng Tarak Ridge It consist of River crossing sa Papaya River and an assault you will never forget. Sa taas makikita na ang Manila (pag nasa Manila ka naman, especially sa MOA, makikita
