Mt Palay-Palay (Pico de Loro)

Mt. Palay-Palay a.k.a Pico de Loro is a 664+ MASL located at Maragondon, Cavite. It has a breathtaking assault with monolith clinb (parrot's peak) and amazing view.

We set the climb August 23-24, 2014. Good weather condition naman sa Cavite nung time na umakyat kami. Just like in our Mt. Batulao climb, we rode a bus going to Ternate, Cavite sa South-West Integrated Bus Terminal. After a 2 hour travel, sasakay naman ng trike going to DENR para mag-register and 5pm nag-start na kami umakyat.

At the first part of the trail, very easy sya dahil gradual ascent naman at meron din train na bababa at tataas at bababa hanggang sa makarating kami sa tindahan ng mga souvenir.

After a short rest, it's time to walk again. After a series of mini river crossing, dumaan kami sa junction wherein yung isang trail ay papunta sa falls and the other one ay papunta sa campsite ng Pico de Loro. Then a few hours later, it's time for assault climb na aabutin ng more or less 2 hours to campsite.

Campsite

At 9pm nakarating kami ng campsite. After dinner, sleep. By morning its time for some photo op.

Summit

From campsite, prepare for 15-20 minutes breathtaking assault to summit. Here are some pictures sa summit.

Descent

After these happy moments at summit, it's time to go down. But the fun never stops pababa.

Bad Boys II - The attack of Pico boys

"Tough but amazing", yan ang masasabi ko sa climb na ito although nothing bad happens to us, naka-akyat at nakababa kami ng maayos. This is the another ultimate climb I will never forget.
